[dropcap]Ή[/dropcap]ταν λίγο πολύ αναμενόμενο και πλέον ανακοινώθηκε και επίσημα. Ο Vin Diesel σε δηλώσεις του στο Comic-Con δήλωσε πως το Furious 8 θα γίνει κανονικά και μάλιστα με ημερομηνία την 14η Απριλίου του 2017.
Μετά την τεράστια επιτυχία του Furious 7 και των εσόδων άνω του 1 δις (και συγκεκριμένα μέχρι στιγμής 1,15), λογικό και επόμενο ήταν να γίνει και όγδοη ταινία με συνοπτικές διαδικασίες. Περισσότερες λεπτομέρειες δεν έχουν προκύψει, κυρίως για τον σκηνοθέτη, καθότι το καστ θα είναι σχεδόν ίδιο με την προηγούμενη ταινία και αναμένουμε περισσότερα στο μέλλον.
