Έχουμε τέλος εποχής λοιπόν για την Marvel όπως την συνηθίσαμε, με πολλές ταινίες να έχουν ανακοινωθεί για την Phase 4. Μια από αυτές είναι και η ταινία Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, έχει θετικά πρώτα σχόλια.

Η υπόθεση έχει ως εξής: “Όταν ο Shang-Chi εισέρχεται στον μυστικό οργανισμό Ten Rings, αναγκάζεται να αντιμετωπίσει το παρελθόν που νόμιζε πως άφησε πίσω.” Η σκηνοθεσία είναι από τον Destin Daniel Cretton (Short Term 12), ενώ έχουν ανακοινωθεί οι Tony Leung ως Wenwu, Awkwafina ως Shang-Chi, Michelle Yeoh στον ρόλο της Jiang Nan, Fala Chen, Meng’er Zhang, Florian Munteanu, Ronny Chieng.
Ο Shang-Chi έκανε την πρώτη του εμφάνιση στο Special Marvel Edition Τεύχος 15 τον Δεκέμβριο του 1973, μετά την αποτυχημένη προσπάθεια της Marvel να αποκτήσει τα δικαιώματα του τηλεοπτικού «Kung-Fu» για κόμικ διασκευή. Μάστερ της πολεμικής τέχνης του Κουνγκ Φου, ο Σανγκ-Σι έχει την ικανότητα να δημιουργεί πολλαπλά αντίγραφά του, ενώ στο επαναλανσάρισμα των κόμικ Marvel Now! τάχθηκε στο πλευρό των Avengers μετά την παραίνεση των Captain America και Iron-Man.
