Φέτος, ανακοινώθηκαν λοιπόν υποψηφιότητες των Oscar, σε μια χρονιά που υπάρχει πολύ μεγάλος ανταγωνισμός με πολλές ταινίες να ξεχωρίζουν. Τις περισσότερες (11) είχε ταινία Everything Everywhere All at Once (με 6 στις μεγάλες κατηγορίες), ενώ από 9 τα The Banshees of Inisherin και All Quiet on the Western Front. Η τελετή θα γίνει στις 12 Μαρτίου.
