[dropcap]Ο[/dropcap]ι τηλεοπτικές προσπάθειες που βασίζονται σε κόμικ συνεχώς αυξάνονται, με την ανατρεπτική σειρά Doom Patrol να ανανεώνεται για μια τέταρτη σεζόν και θα προβάλλεται από το HBO Max, ενώ η τρίτη δεν έχει ολοκληρωθεί ακόμα.
Έχει να κάνει με την επανασύνδεση μιας ομάδας υπερ-ηρώων, η οποία αποτελείται από τον Robotman, τον Negative Man, την Elasti-Woman και την Crazy Jane. Όλοι τους έλαβαν υπεράνθρωπες δυνάμεις μετά από τραγικά ατυχήματα. Η ομάδα συγκεντρώνεται από τον Cyborg, ο οποίος τους προσεγγίζει με μια αποστολή που θα αλλάξει τη ζωή τους για πάντα.
Bασίζεται στο κόμικ Doom Patrol που δημιουργήθηκε από τους Arnold Drake, Bob Haney, Bruno Premiani, ενώ πρωταγωνιστούν οι April Bowlby, Diane Guerrero, Joivan Wade, Brendan Fraser, Riley Shanahan, Alan Tudyk, Timothy Dalton, Matt Bomer και άλλοι.
