[dropcap]M[/dropcap]πορεί να κόπηκε πριν προλάβει να αρχίσει ένα prequel του Game Of Thrones, ωστόσο θα γίνει και επίσημα ένα νέο από το HBO με τίτλο House Of The Dragon που θα κυκλοφορήσει το 2022.
Η prequel σειρά θα λαμβάνει χώρα περίπου 300 χρόνια πριν το Game Of Thrones και θα εστιάζει στις τις περιπέτειες της οικογένειας Targaryen από το σχετικό βιβλίο του George R.R. Martin, Fire & Blood, ενώ ξεκίνησε ήδη το casting για την σειρά. Μετά τον ρόλο του βασιλιά Viserys Targaryen στον οποίο θα δούμε τους Paddy Considine (Third Day, Outsider), Olivia Cooke, Matt Smith, Emma D’Arcy, Rhys Ifans, Steve Toussaint, Eve Best, Sonoya Mizuno. Ανακοινώθηκαν και οι Milly Alcock και Emily Carey.
Η πρώτη θα έχει την νεαρή εκδοχή της Πριγκίπισσας Rhaenyra Targaryen και αποτελεί το πρωτότοκο παιδί του βασιλιά, με αγνό Βαλυριανό αίμα και ικανή στο “πιλοτάρισμα” δράκων. H Carey θα υποδυθεί την Alicent Hightower σε νεαρή ηλικία, κόρη του Otto Hightower, του Χεριού του Βασιλιά και αποτελεί την πιο όμορφη κοπέλα των Εφτά Βασιλίων.
