[dropcap]Ε[/dropcap]ίχαμε τις live action ταινίες του franchise, με την πρώτη προσπάθεια να μην είναι απόλυτα επιτυχημένη, ενώ το Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 ήταν ακόμα χειρότερο. Τώρα έχουμε μια νέα animation ταινία με ένα αξιόλογο voice cast, ενώ οι Paramount Pictures και Nickelodeon Movies ετοιμάζουν sequel, αλλά και μια τηλεοπτική σειρά δυο σεζόν από το Paramount+.
H υπόθεση έχει ως εξής: Μετά από χρόνια απομόνωσης από τον κόσμο των ανθρώπων, τα Χελωνονιντζάκια κατάφεραν να κερδίσουν μέσα από τις ηρωικές τους πράξεις, τις καρδιές των Νεοϋορκέζων και να γίνουν αποδεκτοί ως κανονικοί έφηβοι. Αυτή τη φορά, με τη βοήθεια της νέας τους φίλης April O’Neil, θα κληθούν να αντιμετωπίσουν ένα μυστηριώδες συνδικάτο εγκλήματος, το οποίο σύντομα θα μετατραπεί σε στρατό μεταλλαγμένων.
Στο voice cast βρίσκονται οι Nicolas Cantu ως Leonardo, Micah Abbey ως Donatello, Shamon Brown Jr. ως Michelangelo, Brady Noon ως Raphael, Jackie Chan ως Splinter, Paul Rudd (Mondo Geckο), Maya Rudolph (Cynthia Utrom), Seth Rogen (Bebop), Ayo Edebiri ως April O’Neil, Giancarlo Esposito στον ρόλο του Baxter Stockman Hannibal Buress ως Genghis Frog, Rose Byrne ως Leatherhead, John Cena ως Rocksteady, Ice Cube ως Superfly, Natasia Demetriou ως Wingnut, Post Malone ως Ray Fillet.
