[dropcap]Ο[/dropcap] Dwayne Johnson θα υποδυθεί τον Black Adam, σκηνοθέτης για την νέα ταινία θα είναι ο Jaume Collet-Serra (The Orphan, Unknown). Η ημερομηνία κυκλοφορίας είναι στις 29 Ιουλίου και μέσα από το trailer για τις ταινίες της DC αποκαλύφθηκε η Justice Society.
Παίζουν οι Sarah Shahi (The Rookie, City on a Hill, Sex/Life), Aldis Hodge που θα έχει τον ρόλο του Hawkman, Noah Centineo ως Atom Smasher, Quintessa Swindell που θα υποδυθεί την Cyclone, Marwan Kenzari (Aladdin, The Old Guard). Ο Pierce Brosnan θα παίξει τον Dr. Fate (Kent Nelson) στο Black Adam, τον γιο ενός αρχαιολόγου που έχει διδαχθεί μαγεία και έχει στην κατοχή του το Helmet of Fate.

Ο Black Adam ανήκει στην DC Comics είναι ο μεγαλύτερος εχθρός του Shazam και δημιουργήθηκε από τους Otto Binder, CC Beck. Έκανε την πρώτη του εμφάνιση στο τεύχος της Fawcett Comics, The Marvel Family (Δεκέμβριος 1945). Παρόλο που θεωρείται ως ο αρχαίος Αιγύπτιος προκάτοχος του Captain Marvel, στα σύγχρονα κόμικ πρόκειται για έναν κακοποιό, ο οποίος προσπαθεί να καθαρίσει το όνομα και την φήμη του.
