Η ταινία φυσικά αποτελεί την 8η κινηματογραφική μεταφορά του κλασικού μυθιστορήματος της Louisa May Alcott που ακολουθεί την ιστορία των 4 αδελφών March στον απόηχο του Αμερικανικού Εμφύλιου Πολέμου.
Η σκηνοθεσία είναι της Greta Gerwig, ενώ το cast είναι πραγματικά καταπληκτικό: Saoirse Ronan, Emma Watson, Florence Pugh, Elisa Scanlen, Timothee Chalamet, Meryl Streep, Laure Dern, Bob Odenkirk, Chris Cooper, James Norton, Louis Garrel, Aby Quinn.
