Η ταινία έχει να κάνει με ενα μοναχικό αγόρι απο την Γερμανία, του οποίου η απόψη για τον κόσμο θα ανατραπεί, όταν θα ανακαλύψει πως η μητέρα του κρύβει ενα μικρό κορίτσι στη σοφίτα τους. Με μοναδικό σύμβουλο τον ανόητο φανταστικό του φίλο Αδόλφο Χίτλερ, ο Jojo θα βρεθεί αντιμέτωπος με τον αφελή πατριωτισμό του.
