Η σειρά έχει να κάνει με δυο ανδροειδή που έχουν αναλάβει την αποστολή να αναθρέψουν παιδιά ανθρώπων σε ένα μυστηριώδη και παρθένο πλανήτη. Καθώς η αναπτυσσόμενη αποικία των ανθρώπων απειλείται με τον διχασμό απο τις θρησκευτικές διαφορές, τα ανδροειδή θα μάθουν πως ο έλεγχος των πεποιθήσεων των ανθρώπων, αποτελεί μια επικίνδυνη και δύσκολη αποστολή.
Showrunner είναι ο Aaron Guzikowski (σεναριογράφος του “Prisoners”), βασικός παραγωγός ο Ridley Scott, ενώ πρωταγωνιστούν οι Travis Fimmel, Amanda Collin, Abubakar Salim, Winta McGrath, Matias Varela, Aasiya Shah, Niamh Algar, Felix Jamieson, Ethan Hazzard, κ.α.
