Η ταινία All Quiet on the Western Front για λογαριασμό του Netflix σάρωσε στα Βραβείων Bafta με 7 νίκες, μεταξύ των οποίων καλύτερης σκηνοθεσίας και ταινίας. Ωστόσο, υπήρξε και μια γκάφα και συγκεκριμένα αφορούσε την κατηγορία Best Supporting Actress. Ο νικητής των Οσκαρ CODA για την ταινία Troy Kotsur, παρουσίασε στην νοηματική την συγκεκριμένη κατηγορία και ενώ ανέφερε σωστά το όνομα της Kerry Condon ως νικήτρια (κάτι που ίσχυε), η μεταφράστρια λανθασμένα είπε το όνομα της Carey Mulligan (που ήταν υποψήφια για την ταινία She Said) και αργότερα παραδέχτηκε το λάθος της.

Η ταινία εστιάζει στην συγκλονιστική ιστορία ενός νεαρού γερμανού στρατιώτη στο Δυτικό Μέτωπο του Α’ Παγκοσμίου Πολέμου. Ο Παούλ και οι σύντροφοί του βιώνουν από πρώτο χέρι πώς η αρχική ευφορία του πολέμου μετατρέπεται σε απόγνωση και φόβο, καθώς πολεμούν για τη ζωή τους, αλλά και ο ένας για τον άλλο, στα χαρακώματα. Βασισμένη στο ομότιτλο μυθιστόρημα του Έριχ Μαρία Ρεμάρκ.
