[dropcap]Τ[/dropcap]α τελευταία χρόνια βλέπουμε ταινίες όλο και πιο συχνά να μεταφέρονται ταινίες σαν remake, reboot ή ό,τιδήποτε άλλο και έτσι θα μεταφερθεί και το White Men Can’t Jump του 1992.
Πρωταγωνιστές είναι ο μουσικός Jack Harlow στην πρώτη του παρουσία στην οθόνη (για τον ρόλο του Woody Harrelson) και ο Sinqua Walls που θα αποτελέσει την εκδοχή του Wesley Snipes. Μαζί τους είναι οι Lance Reddick (John Wick franchise), Teyana Taylor (Coming 2 America), Laura Harrier (Hollywood), Myles Bullock (BMF), Vince Staples (Lazor Wulf). Η ταινία θα γίνει σε παραγωγή της 20th Century σε σκηνοθεσία του Calmati και σενάριο των Kenya Barris και Doug Hall.
H υπόθεση για την πρωτότυπη ταινία είναι η εξής: Ενας λευκός κι ένας μαύρος μπασκετμπολίστας βγάζουν χρήματα από στοιχήματα που βάζουν στις γειτονιές του Λος Άντζελες, ενώ σύντομα θα έρθει η μέρα που θα κοντραριστούν στους συνοικιακούς αγώνες.
