[dropcap]Σ[/dropcap]το reboot του Hellraiser από το Hulu πίσω από τις κάμερες θα είναι ο David Bruckner (The Ritual, The Night House), ενώ θα γίνει σε σενάριο των Ben Collins, Luke Piotrowski (Super Dark Times) και η βαθμολογία στο Rotten Tomatoes είναι 73% μέχρι στιγμής.
H πρωταγωνίστρια των Sense8 και The L Word: Generation Q, Jamie Clayton θα παίξει ως γυναίκα Pinhead μαζί με τους Odessa A’zion, Brandon Flynn (13 Reasons Why, Ratched) Goran Visnjic (The Boys, ER) Drew Starkey (Outer Banks, Love, Simon) Adam Faison (Everything’s Gonna Be Okay, Into the Dark), Aoife Hinds (Normal People, Anne Boleyn), Selina Lo (Boss Level), Hiam Abbass (Blade Runner 2049, Succession).
Η ταινία φυσικά έλαβε καταλληλότητα άνω των 18, όπως αναμενόταν, λόγω σκληρής βίας, γλώσσας και κάποιων σκηνών γυμνού.
Nα θυμήσουμε πως θα γίνει και τηλεοπτική σειρά από το HBO Max και πίσω από τις κάμερες θα είναι ο σκηνοθέτης του πρόσφατου Halloween, David Gordon Green. Το σενάριο θα είναι από τους Mark Verheiden (Battlestar Gallactica, Daredevil, Heroes) και Michael Dougherty (X-Men United, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, Trick r’ Treat), ενώ λέγεται πως θα είναι μια “χαλαρή” συνέχεια των original ταινιών και θα πάρει έμπνευση από την νουβέλα των βιβλίων του Clive Barker, The Hellbound Heart, με τον τελευταίο να είναι παράλληλα και παραγωγός.
