[dropcap]Ο[/dropcap] Τοm Hanks είχε κάνει την ταινία Greyhound, η οποία αντί για το σινεμά κυκλοφόρησε από το Apple TV+ και μάλιστα απέκτησε και sequel, όπως έγινε γνωστό. Αυτό είναι αποτέλεσμα της συμφωνίας των Tom Hanks και της Playtone του Gary Goetzman με την Αpple.
Η ταινία έχει να κάνει με ένα πλοίαρχο, ο οποίος καλείται να αναλάβει την διοίκηση ενός αντιτορπιλικού με το όνομα “Greyhound” και θα έρθει αντιμέτωπος με τον εχθρό αλλά και τις προσωπικές του ανασφάλειες, κατά τη διάρκεια του Δεύτερου Παγκοσμίου Πολέμου.
Εκτός από τον Τοm Hanks έπαιξαν οι Stephen Graham, Rob Morgan, Elisabeth Shue, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Karl Glusman, Tom Brittney, σε μια ταινία που σκηνοθέτησε ο Aaron Schneider.
