Σε μια κουρασμένη σειρά ταινιών (ειδικά με το τραγικό remake του Planet of Apes του 2001), μας ήρθε το 2011 το Rise of the Planet of the Apes, και μια ακόμα καλύτερη δεύτερη ταινία, ενώ για το War For The Planet Of The Apes είχαμε γράψει την γνώμη μας.
Eίχαμε αναφέρει ότι ο σκηνοθέτης του The Maze Runner, Wes Ball θα σκηνοθετήσει μια νέα ταινία, η οποία αποκαλύφθηκε ότι θα είναι reboot και αυτό δεν άργησε να προκαλέσει αντιδράσεις από το κοινό.
@20thcentury please do not reboot planet of the apes. How come studios think reboots are the answer the past 3 movies were awesome and you should continue it from where it left off..

Honestly, if Wes Ball's Planet of the Apes is a reboot, I'll be fine. Yeah, I would love to see him continue the story through Cornelius but that doesn't guarantee it'll be good.

Mετά την διάσπαση της Fox και την ενσωμάτωση της στην Disney αυτή είναι η πρώτη ταινία που ανακοινώνεται για το franchise και στο παρελθόν οι Matt Reeves (The Batman) και Andy Serkis είχαν αναφέρει πως θα ήθελαν περισσότερες ταινίες, ωστόσο τους πρόλαβαν τα γεγονότα. Περιμένουμε τις εξελίξεις και θα αναφέρουμε μελλοντικά ότι προκύψει.
