[dropcap]T[/dropcap] Doctor Strange, για την οποία είχαμε γράψει την άποψη μας στην σχετική κριτική θα έχει sequel όπως έχει ανακοινωθεί εδώ και πολύ καιρό, με τίτλο Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, ενώ προστέθηκε η ηθοποιός Xochitl Gomez σε άγνωστο όμως ρόλο.
Ο Scott Derrickson αποχώρησε από την σκηνοθεσία και αντικαταστάτης του για το sequel είναι ένα όνομα από τα παλιά, ο Sam Raimi (σκηνοθέτης της πρώτης τριλογίας του Spider-Man και πιο πριν της αντίστοιχης του Evil Dead).
Από κει και πέρα, ο Benedict Cumberbatch θα επιστρέψει ως Stephen Strange, όπως και ο Chiwetel Ejiofor ως Baron Mordo, η Elizabeth Olsen θα είναι στον ρόλο της Scarlet Witch/Wanda Maximoff και οι σειρές της Disney+, WandaVision και Loki θα οδηγούν στο Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
H ταινία θα κάνει πρεμιέρα στις 25 Μαρτίου 2022 και η σύνοψη έχει ως εξής: “After the events of Avengers: Endgame, Dr. Stephen Strange continues his research on the Time Stone. But an old friend turned enemy seeks to destroy every sorcerer on Earth, messing with Strange’s plan and also causing him to unleash an unspeakable evil.”
