Τα βραβεία Oscar του 2022 έχουν περάσει στην ιστορία, με το Coda να παίρνει το μεγάλο βραβείο, ενω το Dune πήρε 6 Οσκαρ συνολικα. Mια αλλαγή ανακοινώθηκε πλέον για τα προσεχή βραβεία.
Σε ένα ακόμα νέο που προέκυψε πριν λίγο διάστημα και για να μπορέσει να διασφαλιστεί μια πιο δίκαιη μεταχείριση, μιας και οι πλατφόρμες έχουν εισβάλλει στην ζωή μας πλέον, ταινίες που δεν θα έχουν κινηματογραφική διανομή, σε καμία περίπτωση δεν θα μπορούν να συμμετέχουν στα Oscar 2023. Έτσι λοιπόν Netflix, HBO Max,Amazon, Disney+, Apple TV+, Paramount+, Hulu, κλπ. θα πρέπει όπωδήποτε να έχουν δώσει τις αντίστοιχες ταινίες για προβολή σε κινηματογράφους, το λιγότερο για 1-2 βδομάδες.
